About the workshop:


The squat and deadlift are two fundamental movement patterns in the world of training and between them, they can help to strengthen the major muscle groups in the body.

Developing the strength, co-ordination and control required to carry out these movements will transfer to many every-day life activities, such as getting in and out of a chair, climbing stairs, or lifting heavy objects from the floor.

Both of these exercises are great for promoting overall stability and balance to the body and counter-acting much of the anterior-dominance we tend to pick up in day-to-day.

If you're a complete beginner or someone who has experience with these movements, this workshop is for you and will allow you to add more tools to your exercise / skills toolbox.

In this 1.5 hour workshop we will cover:

- Appropriate mobility & activation drills
- How to find the right fit for your body
- The correct setup and execution of the movements
- Different ways you can load and have fun with the movements
