Mobility is the combination of range of movement or flexibility and movement control. To have both we must understand how to create more range and then learn to control that range. We need mobility in order to remain pain free, keep control of our posture, complete everyday tasks without thinking about them. We also need mobility to explore a greater repertoire of exercises in the gym and get the most from our training.
Although stretching and flexibility are parts of creating more range, we will explore how to control that range through movement, in 90 minutes we will show you a series of mobility drills that enable you to leave feeling you have the skills required to improve your mobility. We will get hands on with practicing how to integrate these drills that encourage greater extensibility of muscles into your workouts.
