Meet Twice The Health; the fitness duo that have taken Instagram by storm.
With their love of health and all thing matching, Hannah and Emily share healthy recipes, workout inspo and activewear finds on a daily basis. Think of them as the fit sisters you never had. We sat down with these ladies that lift and fired the questions at the them that you’ve been asking.
"I WILL NEVER START THE DAY ON EMPTY."
WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE STYLE OF TRAINING AND WHY?
EMILY: Functional strength training with a slice of running outdoors. We both got into weights during our second year at university and have never looked back since. Not only has it improved our overall strength and health, it has enabled us to both build bodies we’re incredibly proud of!
HANNAH: Running was where it all began, so of course that sits as a firm favourite for me. However numerous injuries have meant I’ve had to mix things up! One element of my training I’m really enjoying at the moment is the calisthenics/body weight style training I do with ‘Coach Dom’ at your home hub! I’m building strength I never knew I had and finally finding familiarity in being upside down.
WHAT’S YOUR YANG?
EMILY: Starting the day with a balanced breakfast. I will never start the day on empty! My favorite breakfasts are protein zoats or poached eggs with bacon, avocado and rye bread.
HANNAH: I always make sure I’m carrying a guilt free sweet snack, be it an FFF favourite or a classic Quest bar. I have the biggest sweet tooth, and by being prepared with an on the go treat I’m able to stay on track whilst curbing the craving.
WHAT’S YOUR YIN?
EMILY: Not drinking enough water! Oh and I also have a mild addiction to Reese’s pieces peanut butter cups!
HANNAH: Flex bowls… I have every intention of keeping them fairly guilt free, but once I start I cannot stop. Something that should have been just yoghurt and peanut butter suddenly becomes a Reese’s cup, white chocolate brownie, marshmallow mountain and I’m never really sure how.

WHAT ACTIVEWEAR BRAND ARE YOU LOVING AT THE MOMENT?
EMILY: Ooo that’s a real tough one, there is so much beautiful kit out there at the moment
HANNAH: I think it depends on what we are doing. For challenges its got to be The North Face. Their kit is really practical but recently they have really upped their game on the design front bringing functional fashion right to our feet… (and arms and legs and bodies!)
EMILY: For strength training in the gym we will almost always be in matching Lorna Jane. You just cant beat those patterns and flattering shape.
HANNAH: I have recently been introducing more yoga into my workouts and have as a result fallen in LOVE the new Whistles range. It is completely seamless and so soft. I would live in it if I could!
IF YOU HAD TO GIVE ONE FITNESS TIP TO OUR LADIES THAT LIFT, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
EMILY: I think we would have to stay true to our new blog mantra…’take on a challenge!’
HANNAH: I couldn’t agree more. Find something that you have never done before, set a date or book that race and get training! Nothing beats that feeling of euphoria when you conquer a challenge!
