Calisthenics Workshop

This 45 minute workshop is designed to build your confidence controlling your own body weight. The workshop is built around fundamental gymnastics exercises, the handstand, planche and front lever. Don’t worry if you’re not a gymnast though, you don’t need to be.

All of the exercises have been adapted so that anyone can try them. I’ll be breaking down these gymnastics movements into variations that allow you to feel what the exercise should feel like without the fear of falling on your head or the need to be an Olympic gymnast.

As with all our handstand workshops the exercises are designed so that you can take them and reproduce them in the gym on your own, however there will be certain exercises whereby to get the most from them you might require a helping hand. 

Most of all this workshop is about having fun and playing with new exercises, finding challenging variations that will help you to vary your own training and progress onto more advanced skills.
