When it comes to our training, we can often come to a sticking point by doing the same exercises in the same way. The barbell is one of the most popular pieces of equipment available in the gym however it isn’t widely used to its potential.
In this workshop we are going to lift the lid on the benefits of barbell training by using non conventional exercises to make exercises truly bespoke to training goals, body types and movement patterns.
Moving away from the big 3 moves of Squat, Deadlift and Bench, we will examine different ways to use the barbell that challenge the body in new ways. As it’s a creative workshop, this will be 90 minutes of intensive play and hard work but you will go away with plenty of new exercises to incorporate straight away into your training.
