About Jennifer Peglar
Having spent years in a vicious cycle of yo-yo dieting, fitness fads & half hearted attempts at getting fit, my life as I knew it changed in 2011 when I decided to enlist the expertise of a Personal Trainer. At the time, I had no idea of the impact this decision would have on every aspect of my life. As well as losing almost 3 stone, I was fitter, healthier, more productive and above all happier than I had ever been with what felt like endless energy. By the summer of 2012, I had qualifIed as a personal trainer and nutritional adviser, quit my job as a secondary school music teacher, begun working at a commercial gym in the city and entered my first half ironman triathlon.
Since then I have continued my learning journey, exploring new methods of training and coaching to help tailor my approach to each indivual and get the best out of each client helping them realise their full potential and live their lives in a healthier and happier way!
I have a keen interest in movement patterns and designing exercise programmes with functionality at their core so that clients can leave a session feeling better than when they arrived and transfer this into their day to day lives.
